Join us as we reenact The Passion of Our Lord Jesus Christ according to Matthew. The Palm Sunday service begins in the courtyard. Please assemble by 9:55am.

This is the last Sunday to sign up for Easter Lilies " in memory of" or "in thanksgiving for." The cost is $10.00.
Over 400 eggs are being stuffed for the City of Longwood Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday April 8. If you can donate candy or can spare a few minutes to help stuff the eggs, that would be appreciated. The children of Christ Church have been asked to hand out the eggs as the attendees come through the Christ Church booth. We will need both parents and children at this event by 8:45am. Church Ave will be closed, please use Jessup Ave and park there or behind the school. Parking Lot is used for the Easter Egg Hunt.
There will be no Spaghetti Dinner on Saturday April 8.
On Good Friday's Stations of the Cross Apr 7, 12noon, we will be joined by members of St. Stephens Lutheran Church. Last Thanksgiving I preached at their service and they are coming to be with us as we reenact that Sacred time as Jesus walked to His death. Weather permitting, the stations are outdoors. Dress for the weather and wear comfortable shoes. Thank you to Beth Ann who decorated the poles which serve as the stations.

The Priest in Charge Discretionary Fund is low. Persons including church members can ask for assistance. Because of the great need out there last year, the funds are almost depleted. On the first Sunday of each month the open plate collection goes to the Priest in Charge Discretionary Fund. These funds are used to assist those in need.
The God at Work Capital Campaign will continue as there is so much to be repaired on the buildings.
